One Foot in the Rave

Image of One Foot in the Rave

This piece was commissioned to be the artwork for the Edinburgh Fringe verse play 'One Foot in the Rave'.

It tells the clockwise story of the writer’s escape from the Jehovah’s Witnesses, through to his DMT revelation via the 90’s rave scene. There are various hidden symbols that are mentioned in the show that all come together to create a visual map of his history in a surreal juxtaposition of memory and experience, conflated with symbology and meaning.

I spent a month working at the Edinburgh Fringe 2018, assisting with the show and helping to sell the merchandise. Almost all of the limited edition T-shirts were sold and so we are doing a new run on white.

You can order this as a print or on a T-shirt. All prints are signed and numbered.
